After Installing Terminal Service system doesn't...

Hi,

I recently installed Terminal service in Win2K Svr. After
rebooting the system, system goes in BLUE screen and sits
there this right before login screen?
In order to login the system I have to select Safe Mode
and un-install Terminal Service and reboot the system.

Does anyone had this experience? What do I need to
resolve this issue?

Thank you for any input(s.

Which ServicePack are you running?
Do you mean a completely blue screen without any text or icons, or a
"Blue Screen of Death" with a STOP error? If a BSOD, could you post
the STOP error information (error number and parameters, maybe also
driver name).

Vera,

I am using Service Pack 3.0 and latest patches.

I get Blue Screen without any text icon...etc. Only mouse
arrow shows on the screen.
Steps:
-> BIOS // passed
-> Windows logo after BIOS // passed
-> Blue Screen w/out any icon or text right before the
Ctrl + ALT + Del Screen.
-> System just sits here. I have tried uninstall and
reinstalled Terminal Server didn't resolve the issue.
Basicly if I install the Terminal Server I go only this
far and system wait......
Only way to resolve it go safe mode uninstall the TS and
system start just fine.

Thank you any inputs!!!

Does the server boot normally when you install Terminal Services
and then, before rebooting, change the startup value of the
service to inactivate it? See:

278657 - Terminal Services Cannot Be Manipulated
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=278657

Which account is used for the TS service? It has to be the local
system account. Check:

If that doesn't help, check:

Vera,

Thank you for all the tips. I am going to try it next
couple of hours to see I can resolve this issue.

Thank you,
Dean
