What do YOU mean by "shutting down automatically"?
Are you getting any messages or blue-screens?
What do your event logs say?
When was the last time you scanned for viruses?
When was the last time you cleaned out spyware?
Did you upgrade any drivers for your hardware? Add any new hardware?
Shenan, did you go to microsoft and download all updates before you installed
SP2? Did you go to the manufactures page of your computer and install all
updayrs for your particular computer model before you installed SP2? If you
didn't, that's your problem, if you did, I suggest you uninstall SP2 back to
SP! and try again installing all updates with Microsoft and your manufacturer
before installing SP2 again. That's what I had to do before it worked.
