After I installed Norton Antivirus 2004 the Live update wont work

This is the probem:
After I installed Norton Antivirus 2004 the Live update wont work.
The problem is possibily IE6, which wont open at all now!
I ve tried to de-install and repair but nothing helps.

An alternative would be to use Mozilla but NAV doesnt seem to know about it.
Also the Firewall wont start (LSP not found)
