After clearing blast.exe, Setup unable to open netoc.inf

Note: first time I sent this it showed that I sent it at
11:30 p.m. tonight, about 8 hours ahead of me, though my
system clock is correct. After clearing the msblast.exe
worm from my system, I am getting the same netoc.inf
error message as Brian(see below)did on Aug 11th, but
with a specific error code of 0x2 at line 2011777033. I
did a search for netoc.inf and there is none on my system-
-side effect of the worm or the fix maybe? No one
answered Brian, so I'm hoping for some hero to come along
and set us straight.

I am also getting numerous Zone Alarm requests to open
Outlook.exe, and in task manager, 16 or 17 outlook.exe
instances open. Now I am getting a message that the mail
server is unavailable & I can't send and receive. I
checked all the settings in Outlook 2000; Tools; Accounts
and they're right (ISP is Pacbell & I have DSL). Any
suggestions? I've removed Office 2000 and am about to
reinstall it, but can find nothing in the knowledge base
about the missing .inf file.

When I try and enable Interent Connection Sharing I get
an error message telling me "The dependency service or
group failed to start". I went in to Add/Remove Windows
components to re-install ICS but when i click on the
Add/Remove Windows Components button I get this error
message "Setup was unable to open information file
netoc.inf The specific error code is 0x2 at line

I uninstalled & reinstalled Office 2000 & that fixed the
email probs. Still can't get into deciding on windows
components, due to the netoc.inf file.
