Home Basic will still suport GDI and support the same 3D functionality as
all of the rest of the versions. It just will not include, from Microsoft,
some of the features that use advanced graphics functionality like Aero.
That doesn't mean that other software, such as games, will not be able to
use 3D on Home Basic.
I don't know what your question means with those terms (I guess that's 3D
Card) but somewhere in this thread I thought you might want to Force Aero in
Windows Home and it has been and can be done:
Home basic doesn't default contain Aero Glass and it might be forced to
depending on your graphics card--it's been reported widely that it can. I
don't have Home Basic.
