Adware hotbar & spyware

I use spybot and symantec; symantec has discovered the
adware hotbar and spyware there are 5 files (one
ending .dll, the other four .exe). I have been unable to
delete or remove them and it is driving me nuts - in
particular the hotbar. Does anyone know how I can remove
them?

Most likely the files in question are currently in useand cannot be deleted/renamed/moved

Your best bet is to run the scan in safe mode

To find out how to boot into safe mode open Help and Support and type in safe mode for your search
