Ads for software

I am not sure if this is the right group, but since my windows
application is written in c# I'll just try my luch here.

I want to put ads/banners on my software. Is there such a thing as
google's ads for softwares (instead of websites)?

Sehboo,

AFAIK, there isn't, but I don't see why you can't host the ad in a page
on your site, then host a webbrowser control that goes to that page. If
people want to click on the ad, then they can.

You have to check with Google to see if this violates the terms of
service for placement of ads though.
