Administrative shares not visible remotely

I'm attempting to deploy Symantec Antivirus 8.0 to my network clients and it
relies on the admin$ share being present and visible. I've looked at the four
computers having this problem and they all have the admin$ visible locally,
however it is not visible from remote computer. How would I go about
resolving this? Thank you.

Shares that end in a $ are by definition hidden from the network.

To use them, you just address them:
\\ServerName\Admin$

That's the problem, I'm doing that and it still can't locate that share on
the computer. For some reason the admin$ share can only be accessed locally

I can clarify the problem a little bit now. It seems that about 5-6 of the
comptuers on the network can see the rest of the network, map drives, do what
it is they want as part of the domain however the rest of the domain cannot
see them. At all. None of their hidden/non-hidden shares appear to the rest
of the network, you can see the computer on the "entire network" list but
double-clicking on it yields you nothing.
