ADDRESS WINDOW WON'T CLEAN

I've used several pc cleaners and still can't get the
address window clean of all previous entries. Any ideas?

In addition to history mentioned earlier also clear Auto Complete.

Tools> Internet Options. Go to the "Content" tab click "AutoComplete" then
"Clear Forms."

Well, I cleared the history and I cleared the forms, but
when I go to the address bar in the tool bar and type in
any letter, all the old searched sites and web addresses
still come up. Any other helpful ideas?

To adjust AutoComplete settings

You can configure AutoComplete to save and suggest only
the information you want. You can choose whether to use
AutoComplete for Web addresses, forms, and passwords, or
not use it all. You can also clear the history for any of
these.

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet
Options.
Click the Content tab.
Under Personal information, click AutoComplete.
Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you
want to use.
