Something has happened to explorer that requires me to
input http:// before I enter a www. website. Anyone know
the fix for this problem? I have to believe some settings
have changed to cause this to happen. Any info on this
will be appreciated.

I found this response from somebody who had this problem

Get also AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them

"IE is making me type "http://" before everything!
Before, I could type
www.google.com or google.com and it would work. now I
can't load ANY webpage without typing the full address.
This is getting very annoying. Any Ideas???"
