address book

I have attempted to move contacts from the 'contacts'
folder to another folder by clicking and dragging, but
it's not working. I know it will stay in the contact
folder as well, but it's not moving over.

I've also been quite frustrated in the past with my
inability to create new folders in the address book
itself. The HELP menu suggests the typical right
clicking, going to folders and selecting 'new', etc., but
that option just is never available. I have Outlook 6.0,
I'm using Outlook Express. I know 'groups' are available,
but I want more folders. Is there a reason why I can't
create any more, or another way to do this, an upgrade
available that makes all this work better? I've wondered
if something is simply corrupted with my address book,
but I don't know how to repair it. I have fooled around
with the 'shared contacts' option, too, trying to make
this work the way I want it to, but I become accustomed
to the appearance of my organization, and when I do
organize my contacts, and then that organization is lost,
a lot of time and work is required to redo things.

Any ideas on all this would be so very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Jan

Thanks,

This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

A good website for information on OE is:
