Address book view do not show all email addresses

When i open address book in Outlook 2003, all my contacts
show up regardless if they have an email address or not.
Some are not showing email addresses even if there is a
valid smtp address in the email field on the contact.
When trying to open the contact, that i know has a valid
email address I am getting "an invalid entryid was
passed" error.Any help would be great.

The Outlook Address Book will only display Contacts with electronic
addresses.
You've left out part of this story. How did you create these Contacts and
why are their electronic addresses invalid? I suspect you imported them or
tried to do an inplace upgrade form an earlier version. Need details.

These contacts have been created manually in Outlook 2000
which has been upgraded to 2003. It started happening
recently but not sure what changed in a setting. Some
email addresses show up in the address book but they do
not sync up. Example, I have a user in contacts that has
a valid email address. When I look at the same person in
te address book, the record does not show an email
address. When I try to open the record I get the error
below.

If you did an inplace upgrade from Outlook 2000 in IMO mode, you most
certainly have a corrupt profile. Create a new one from scratch.

Tried what, exactly, and how?
How did you migrate your Outlook Data?
Next time could you please list what you've already tried to save us all
some time?

I fixed a problem w/ my Outlook very similar to this issue.

Here's what I did.
1) Go to your Contacts list in outlook
2) Add a new column using the field chooser. Add the "Subject" field
listed in the "All Mail Fields" section
3) Sort your contacts by this new column.
4) Open up the contacts which have a blank subject.
5) Make some sort of trivial modification to the contact. Add a space
somewhere or retype one letter in their name or something.
6) Hit Ctrl-> to move to the next contact, when prompted to save, hit
return to save.
7) Repeat steps 5-6 until their aren't any more "Untitled Contacts"
remaining.

Hope that helps others!
Rob
