Address book does not transfer to contacts

When I right click on e-mail address and then select add to contacts...the
address card comes up... I save and close.

But, the card only opens in the address book. It doesn't add it to
contacts. This also prevents me from printing off my e-mail list.

What you claim is not possible. There is no address book in Outlook. The
only data it shows exists in Contact Folders. Clarify your post. I suspect
you are saving the information to a Contacts Folder that is different than
the one you are examining.
