address bar

anyone know how to clear the address bar.
when i clear history in the options dialogue box it
doesn't seem to clear the address bar.

Clear the entries in the registry key as mentioned in the above article.
If they are still coming up - as when you are using Autocomplete, then those are stored in the index.dat file in your History folder, and that will have to be deleted. See this site on how to delete your History folder:
