Address bar still not clearing

Hi, ther
My address bar has lots of web pages that I would like to get rid of
I think I´ve tried all the solutions that people have been pointing out here, like clearing the history and temporary folder and downloading software for this purpose

This link here http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm does not seem to work anymore

Of course I can turn Autocomplete off but that doesn´t really clear the bar

It seems that some of these web pages got stuck on the address bar when IExplorer was running and my computer restarted itself (because of some malfunction

Thanks for readin
More thanks for answerin

This links worked for me this Tuesday Morning May 18 at 8.30 AM EST.

What is the error message?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

Well the link doesn´t work for me. It says 'cannot find server'.

Maybe someone knows why.

Thanks

Henri made a suggestion for why.
Malware is known to redirect that site using HOSTS.
Did you try renaming HOSTS?
