Address bar doesn't work

I installed the latest updates for xp this past Tuesday, now the address bar
in internet explorer doesn't work. Also when I use the ctrl + o keys to open
up the box to type in an address it does not respond and sends a report to
Microsoft.

Any idea as how to fix this problem.

I am having exactly the same problem. When I click on the blue "V" button
ont he address bar it freezes. When I try to close the explorer I get a
message saying that the program is not responding and I have to close out.
If I delete the address in the window and type in an adrress it works.
I am not sure if this started after a recient update of my windows but I
believe it did.
Any help out there?
