Explorer window Address Bar

Hello,

Forgive me if this has been asked previously but I could not find the answer
to my question in previous posts. When I type in the address bar of the
Explorer Window it brings up historical information... websites, links to
files, favorites, and other miscellaneous items. I'd like to know how to
clear this information from my system. Deleting History and Temp Internet
Files through Tools, Internet Options in IE does not work. Again, these
files and sites apeear when I type in the Address Bar of my Explorer Window
not IE. Any help is much appreciated.

You want to turn Auto Complete off. Tools>Internet Options>Content Tab.
Click on the button that says Auto Complete.

you can also click on tools under internet options and clear history and then
set it to 1 day.
