I have Outlook 2002. I need to have two inboxes, e.g., for
my wife and I.

I do not want to see her e-mail; she does not want to see
mine.

I want to be able to receive e-mail into my in box, and
she receives mail into hers. This should be password
protected.

Can we do this with one copy of outlook 2002?

Do I need to create two copies of outlook?

In one copy, insert my cable email address in the other
copy, her cable email address.

Hope you can assist me.

two options - if you are using Windows XP or 2K set up a separate user for
your wife in which there will be a completely separate PST file.
Otherwise, set up a second mail profile. Control Panel-Mail-Show profiles

Another option would be to create two new folders, his name and her name.
Then, create two "rules" that check incoming mail, each to move the new mail
to a folder based on "received through specified account".

I do this now for my business email versus personal and it works great. As
long as you trust each other and there are no privacy issues, it's the
simplest way.
