Adding RAM memory to a Toshiba Satellite 1800-100

Is it possible to add memory to a Toshiba Satellite 1800-100 notebook?

At the moment it has only 128Mb, but it would be nice to have more :)

If possible, I could place it myself, but I don't know how to open the
notebook. Is it safe to open it, how do you do it? And wich memory card do I
need?

The notebook:
Toshiba Satellite 1800 - 100
Processor: Intel Celeron Processor running at 800MHz; 128KB Level 2 cache
Memory: 128MB SDRAM standard; 512MB max

Have you bothered to look at the manual? Typically modern notebook computers
have an easily accessible method for accessing the memory and hard drive.
All I've seen recently have had a little panel on the bottom secured by one
or two screws under which the memory resides -- typically there will be two
SODIMM sockets available. If both are already filled you will need to
sacrifice one or more modules to increase the total. For example, if your
128mB is made up of two 64mB modules you will need to pull one or both to
increase your total. It might even be possible that modern chipsets will
require that memory be changed in pairs only although I haven't seen that in
any of the notebooks I've messed with.

www.crucial.com has a great memory configurator which will tell you what you
have, what you can go up to, how many slots (free and occupied) etc.
