adding custom fields to calendar

I'm developing an AddIn for Outlook 2002 and I'd know if I could add some
custom fields to the calendar that the attendees with my AddIn installed
would be able to interpret. Who could I add this custom field to the
iCalendar and who could I access to this field in the received meeting
request?

Outlook does not support custom fields in iCalendar items, only in actual Outlook meeting request items created from custom forms.
