Blocking Default Send button functionality and performing only custom action in outlook

In outlook Addin development , i want to block default functionality of send button in outlook calendar and i want to perform only custom action added to send button.
i am using VSTO2010,C#, .net 4, MS office 2007... This need to be done on Ms office 2003,2007,2010(atleast 2007 and 2010).
