adding compressed folder option

M

Michael Mauzey

My computer crashed .. had to format/re-install Windows XP Home. I
installed and then un-installed Windows PKZip. Now when I right click, I do
NOT have the option to "create compressed filed". Any idea how to get it
back. I tried doing what the "Help and Support" said, but it still doesn't
give me the option when I right click.
Please help ... thanks ... Michael Mauzey

At Start > Run type
REGSVR32 ZIPFLDR.DLL
and see if the option is available now.

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
