Compressed (Zipped) Folders

I have a question about some of my context menus. I went to e-mail some
music today, so I was going to place it in a Compressed (Zipped) Folder.
When I right-clicked on the desktop, I noticed that that option was not there
under the New> menu. I went into one of my folders and I realized I can no
longer create Compressed (Zipped) Folders. Is there any way I can re-build
that menu so the option becomes available to me? Thanks for all of the help!

Start | Run <type in>
regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
<enter>

If that doesn't work download Winzip.

It is under the "send to" option. Highlight the files you want to zip in
windows explorer. Right click. Send to.

The "Send To" option is available but it bugs me because it used to be under
the "new menu". I will keep checking back here for additional posts.

If you want to add it to New then
Get TweakUI
Create a new file > Name it what you want > Give it extension what you want (zip)
Under Templates > Click New button > Browse for the file you made

Hi Aaron,

Click Start, Run and type:

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

Press Enter. Then type:

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
