adding a printer in xp

when i try to add a local printer it will go through all the files copying
to the system32 drivers folder and then at the end of the install i get this
message




"Printer driver was not installed. Cannot create a file when that file
already exists.

deleted the files that it installs in the system32 drivers folder and then
when i try to reinstall it i still get the message. It is a hp deskjet 5650
