Adding 2003 server to w2k domain

Is it as simple as adding the 2003 server to the exising w2k domain? Can I
set up the new server as a BDC? What if the new server is not a DC? The
existing w2k server is an Exchange 2000
server as well. The new 2003 server will become a file server only.

Don't double post, instead include the multiple newsgroup separated by ; in
the newsgroups (Basically To:) location.
