add/remove window clutter

while i am asking here, i need to know for ALL window flavors....

manually remove and app, and you get dead link in the add/remove
window....how can you celan that window?
 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Dig down in here and remove the offending entry.
