For some reasons, I failed to remove the installed program using Add/Remove
Programs applet. Is there any other way to remove the program completely?

Thanks,

Ray

You can try reinstalling the program, then try uninstalling it once again.

Carey,

Thanks for your good idea to resolve part of the issue. Some of installed
programs are unknown and we do not have the original program disk that are
the most headache.

Here is the problem:
My C drive was my pre SP1/SP2 winxp system drives. I decided to re-install
windows on my drive D, with SP1/SP2 installed before I went live with it.
Now, after thoroughly testing the SP2 on my d drive, I want to get rid of
the C drive version. Drive C and D are physically separate hard drive
devices. I changed the boot.ini on the D drive, disconnected the old C
drive, and made the new D drive primary. When I go to fire up the system, I
get the message "ERROR LOADING OS" What am I forgetting here.......has to
be something obvious

Well,
You did everything right until you disconnected the drives. You should have
kept the the same drive letters. Why? Because even though you are booting
to the new OS on D:\, your bootloader is on that C: drive that you swapped
out and that Windows can't see because it's not in the same physical
location. Swap them back the way they were originally, and everything
should be fine. Then, just format your old C:\ Drive.
