add/remove programs

I have two questions:

First, why can I only see some, not all of the programs
and applications on the system when I use the add/remove
from teh control panel?

Second, I get a message telling me that a particular .dll
is missing when I try to uninstall Kazaa.

Any help is appreciated

1) Because the installed application in the case of not appearing in Add\Remove sucks. Was a bad developer of the install routine.

2) what dll?
 
Some software have their own uninstaller in Programs menu.
