add/remove programs

I am trying to uninstall a program and when I go to
add/remove on my control panel it tells me I don't have
anything installed on my computer. Why is it not
recognizing any installed programs?

What operating system? if xp , did u try to scroll

through the body of add remove programs all the way till
the end?
