Add/remove Programs Tool " An unexpected Error Occurred"

Windows 2000 Professional:

Whenever I try to open the Add/remove Programs Tool, it
opens but is blank and I
receive the following message:

An unexpected error occurred.
Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment
res://sp3res.dll/default.hta
Line:84

Anybody help please.
