unexpected error trying to add/remove programs

B

Brian Roden

On my W2KSP4 system, when I go into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, I
get a message that says: "An unexpected error occurred. Wrong number of
arguments or invalid property assignment res://sp3res.dll/default.hta
Line: 84"

The sp3res.dll that is in my system32 folder is dated 7/15/2003 and is 4,745
KB, which matches other Win2K systems that are functioning correctly.

Do I reinstall SP4?

Please try the following and let us know if that resolves your issue:

In Internet Explorer, select Tools>Internet Options> Accessability. Uncheck
"Format documents using my style sheet" then delete the file the style sheet
is using.
