I had to uninstall some apps using the Uninstall executable in the Program
Folder. Now, when I open the Control Panel and use the Add Remove Programs
app, and uninstall from there, since the programs are already uninstalled,
the names of the programs remains. There must be a way to delete those
program names from the dialog box. Please help.........

There is a program called CCleaner (Google it) that has an option under Tools
to remove those entries.

Just select the entry in Add and Remove Programs and click the Remove
button. You should be advised that the program cannot be found and asked if
you want to remove the entry. Click Ok and the entry will be removed.

Thanks - but that's not happening (advice that program can't be found).
There must be another way to do this. Thanks........

Yes you can hack them out of the registry. Follow the instructions here
