Not clear about uninstalling this pack, there are specified:

To remove this download:

There is no uninstall feature for this download. To remove this download:
To remove the download file, delete the file OCONVPCK.EXE.

Then, there are specified:

1.. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
2.. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3.. In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Office
Converter Pack and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears,
follow the instructions to remove the program.
4.. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.

Sounds pretty clear to me.
If you downloaded the file and did nothing with it, then delete it
(oconvpck.exe).
If you installed it, then remove it via the add/remove menu.

Ohh, yes, that's right, just re-read.

Anyone know some (freeware preferably) utility (DOS or Win32) for converting
word .doc to MS-DOS Text with Layout(*.asc), Text With Layout(*.ans)
formats? I need preserve proper formatting of tables, data, indents.

Are you saying that having installed that pack, Word does NOT allow for
converting (resaving) the documents in those two Text with Layout formats?
It would be under the File, Save As option in Word.

I installed this OCONVPCK.EXE on Office 2000 (it shown in add/remove
programs) and tried to convert word doc to "MS-DOS text with layout", but
got alert:
"Microsoft Word can't export in the specified format. This feature is not
currently installed. Would you like to install it now?", and then it ask me
for Office installation CD or browse for .msi pack. Something wrong.

Well yeah! You HAVE to have your Office installation CD, too.

Do I had to have the Office installation CD if install this converter on
Office 2003 also?

when unpack OCONVPCK.EXE Self-Extractor file, find no any text converters
listed if this setup.

Probably. Usually when you add things to Office, it prompts you for the
CD, but you may be lucky and not need it.
