I would like to add a photo (a JPG) to the center of my Windows XP
Desktop. I can't seem to find how to do this in the help file. Can
anyyone help me out here?

Thanks.

Right click a blank space on your desktop, select properties, go to the
Desktop tab, click the browse button and navigate to the JPG you wish to
use, once found, select it, click apply and ok.

the way I do it is go to my pictures and on the menu to
the left select under picture tasks set as background and
bingo its on your desktop.

Actually, I should have been more specific.... I want to add a photo
(centered) onto a pre-existing desktop theme. Following your procedure, I
get the photo, but it's centered over only a solid color background.

I still want a pre-programmed theme as the background, but I'd like the
photo to be centered over it. Can this be done?

Thanks.
