Add or remove programs

I want to uninstall some programs but I can't get into the actuall add or
remove program. When I click on the Add or remove programs button it does
nothing at all. Its been doing this for a year now and I still have not
figured it out. I just can't get to it but I can get to all the other
programs in the control panel. PLEASE HELP!!!!

does the Add/Remove Programs screen appear?

of course the appwiz.cpl should be there somewhere.
But lacking it:
Most programs have an uninstall in their own foders in C:\program
files.
You can directly run those.
Also, some programs can be uninstalled by just deleting their folder
entirely.... but only some...

It sounds like maybe appwiz.cpl and/or mshtml.dll somehow got
unregistered - take a look at this:

Mis-spoke on previous reply. I was able to open the link, however I have XP,
and I can't locate the Mshtml.dll file in the Winnt\System32 folder. It
tells me that Winnt is an invalid folder.

What to do?
