Add/Remove Programs Does Not Populate

Running XP Home SP3

When I select control panel/add remove programs, it runs and says wait while
list is being populated, and although the hard drive is working nothing gets
populated. I have not had this issue previously. I recently installed
software for a Logitech trackball mouse and a Garmin GPS. Don't know if
there's any connection. What do I have to do to get the list populated?
Thanks.

Are you sure you are waiting long enough? When you have like a few
hundred programs installed, it seems like it could take 10 minutes to
populate. There are some third party programs that are much faster though.

Problem Resolved. I'm not sure how but I did a restore to a previous date
and also rolled back to a previous setting on a registry cleanup done by
System Mechanic. Thanks for the advice.
