ADD/REMOVE Programs will not populate

When I open the Contol Panel to Add/Remove programs, The Change or Remove
Programs never populates a program list. "Please wait while the list is being
populated..." is all I ever get.

try this, it happens to me randomly
click it to open it and wait for it to say please wait and stuff wait about
30-60secs and if it still doesnt populate close it and open it again and if
it still doesnt work just try it one more time but after the second
time and it doesnt work i'm not sure then..

Waldo,

Thanks for the reply, but mine will NEVER populate. I've tried everything,
from repeated tries, to leaving it open overnight. Hopefully an MVP can shed
some light.

Same problem, it keeps saying that it will populate a lprogram list. Have
you had any success in fixing it?
