Add / Remove Programs dialog screen

I have programs in my add/remove programs box that I can't remove The program
has been uninstalled but it still shows up in the add/remove box. I can't
reinstall the program and I think that may be the culprit. Any help out there?

I went to the reg entry and it only list 4 keys and none of them are the
program I am trying to remove. I have quite a few programs installed but it
only shows 4 in the registry any more help which I can try?

I have two instances of the same program in add remove programs and neither
have the option to remove or uninstall. I went into the registry as described
by Microsoft but only found four entries. Why doesn't it show entries for all
installed programs?

Open a run command and type in:
regedit click [OK]
Locate this Key on the registry editor:
[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall=
in the right pane/window you will see all the entries for ex:
Value Name: DisplayName, UninstallString
