Add or Remove Programs problem

My "Add and Remove Programs" option has disappeared from my Control Panel.
Any thoughts?

Do you have the file "appwiz.cpl" file in the System32 folder
(c:\windows\system32)?

If you do, double-click this file. What happens?

Also, download TweakUI from Microsoft.

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (for Windows XP SP1 or higher)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

If Windows XP does not have any service packs installed then visit Ramesh's
website to obtain Tweak UI for Windows XP with no Service Packs.

Tweak UI for Windows XP

Run TweakUI and go to "Control Panel" > ensure "appwiz.cpl - Shell
Application Manager" is checked.
 
Thanks to both for the help. Got it back, and learned a couple of tricks on
the way.
