Add and Remove Programs

When I go into Control Program and to Add/Remove Programs, the icons are not
there! When I click on a program, it does not give me the option of removing
it. All of that disappeared this morning and there are additional items on
the list now too. Stuff I've never seen. HELP! How do I get the Icons back
and the remove options back??????

u might have a viruis or spyware. do u have any antiviruis or antispyware
programs on u computer? scan with them a full scan, and delete anything u
find. also, try this if you have windows xp:
click start-all programs-accesories-system tools-system restore. follow the
wizard and choose a day before this happaned. click next then finish. follow
the wizard, your computer will restart, and hopefully that will fix the prob.
try scanning for viruises and spyware if system restore does not work.

Also, u need to provide more info.
1.) what is your windows? 98, 2000,xp, vista...etc...?
2.) what were you doing when this promblem occured? did u just turn it on 1
day and this happaned?
3.) name any software that you have installed recently.
4.) did you change any computer settings recently?
