add Desktop right click New item

Hi,
Is it possible to edit the registry to add items into the Desktop Right
Click New popup list? I noticed that after I have install AcdSee - the item
is in the New.
And if it is possible - how do I find the registry binary value for
respective item that I may want to put there?
