Active Window Keeps "skipping"

I am experiencing a very strange thing. When I am typing in an active window
(say MSN Messenger chat), every once in a while (probably every 5 minutes of
so), and while typing, it will look like i have chosen another window to be
active, so the MSN Chat i am on becomes inactive, and my typing doesnt
appear. Then in a 1 or 2 seconds the active window goes back to being MSN
Chat window and my typing would appear again. All that i have not chosen any
other window. I also noticed it happens when i am in IE browsing... ANY IDEA!

Sounds like something is stealing the "input focus" for awhile. Make sure
you run antivirus/antispyware scans.

Also try opening the task manager and looking to see if any new process
springs into life when the input focus is stolen. Might also be worth
looking in the Event Logs to see if there are entries around the time the
focus is lost.
