Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to use the Active Desktop wallpaper group
policy in order to push down a standard wallpaper to our
terminals. However, when I log on to one of the computers
that should be affected, half of the desktop comes up with
an Internet Explorer integrated into it. How can I
eliminate the IE window and keep it strictly as a
bitmapped wallpaper? Thanks in advance!

This is what worked for me. (running a Win2k3 domain)
In the group policy,
User/Admin Temp/Desktop/Active Desktop/
Enable Active Desktop - Enabled
Disable all items - Enabled
Prohibit changes - Enabled
Prohibit adding items - Enabled
Prohibit editing items - Enabled
Active Desktop Wallpaper- Enabled with specified file
location

Hope this helps
