activate dynamic disks at startup?

I have Windows XP and two dynamic disks. When Windows boots up, the disks
are offline and I have to go into Computer Management and activate them. Any
Ideas on how to have them activate at startup?

Thanks!

That is highly illogical.

What interface are these disks on? What interface is your boot disk on? It
sounds like the 2 dynamic disks are becoming unavailable to the OS during the
shutdown and/or bootup process.
