the phone rings in my house i get disconnected for about 30 seconds then it
reconnects, also sometime during the midnight it gets disconnected, this is
so annoying because i need to use the internet at night and mostly online
games. is there a fix to this problem?

You failed to install the provided micro-filters for DSL properly.

Every phone jack that will have a phone, analog modem, fax or
answering machine must have the DSL filter installed in between the
unit and the wall jack. This is to permit the "voice" signals not to
over lap the DSL signal.

some of my phones have attach to extended line cords then attached to the
wall jack, so do i best put the filters to phone & extended line cord or the
extended line cord & wall jack?

also after i do the items, do i have to re-install using the CD or do
anything with it or i'm done afterwards?

Install the DSL filters at the wall jacks. Then these will not be
stuck in the middle of the room when you move the extention (where
they can be walked on.) Everything should work correctly have that
(no re-install required.)
