account rules

Hello,
I tried to apply rules that come from a specific account and then get moved
to a specific folder.
When I create the rule everything looks good. The moment I click "Apply" the
account changes to another account. All accounts are working properly when I
download mail.
What is funny is that on different rules the account changes randomly to
another account, so it does not always change to the same account.
I ran scanpst.exe, but everything was OK,
Please help, what could be the problem?
Thanks,
AJS

Thanks Robert,
I have one more question:
I backed up the .pst file, but when I restored it, mail accounts were not
included and the message rules had in brackets "on another computer". I had
to do all this manually.
Is there a way to back up OL so that I have an exact clone of OL when I
restore.
I will post this under a different subject too, but it would be great if you
could answer this.
Thanks
AJS

| This could be the result of a mail profile corruption.

Account settings are not stored in the pst-file and rules are specific to
the mail profile which they were created for.
You'd need a backup tool which can abstract the machine dependencies and be
able to recreate them upon restore. Personally I had great experience with
ABF Outlook Backup

If you decide tor order use ABF-1HTJ8 to get a discount.
