Hi, i have just got a laptop and want to be able to transfer files between my
laptop and my PC, through my wireless connection. when i do a search on my
lap top for my PC it finds it, but when i click on it it comes up with a
message saying i have no permission. then when i search for my laptop on the
PC it finds it and then when i click on it it comes up with a new window,
saying connecting to my laptop. OPTIONS: User name(this is already entered as
(shaunslaptop\guest), Password:(I DONT KNOW) i have not set a password so i
dont know it. what should i do to set up these permissions and passwords?
thanx

Shaun,

Are both computers running Windows XP? If so, is it XP Home or Pro? If Pro, is
it with Simple File Sharing enabled or disabled? All of this makes a big
difference. Read this article, and come back with questions.
