Accessing a remote Computer

Hi

I'm using Win Xp and My client is using WinXp is it
possible to take control of his computer to be able to
install a program and show him how to work on a program

Yea, it is possible. The best way to do it that I know
of is by both using MSN messenger. Once you both have
that then "HE" needs to go to start, then help and
support, then under Ask for assistance click on "invite a
friend to connect to your computer with Remote
Assistance. Then, he needs to click on Invite someone to
help you, then use the messenger, not outlook. He should
be able to figure the rest out. This does work, i used
it all the time. Once it opens up all the way, you click
on the top left button on the screen. It should
say "take control".

Just go to help and support. Look under Working Remotely. Not
sure if it applies to WinXP Pro Only.
