When accessing the "my Computer" and Mcafee AV it takes
over 5 minutes to open. Further, when doanloading
updates, 'ntdll.dll', 'wupdater.exe' and 'dahotfix.exe'
has errors that keep popping up.

Lastly, the PC no longer allows for the soundcard to
work. It sees the soundcard, but does seem to be set up
properly. Can you help?

Thanks,

Rob

Rob,

I'm not positive but I'd bet it has something to do with your McAfee AV
system scanner. Try disabling or even uninstalling McAfee and see if that
repairs problem.

You have spyware on your computer. Remove spyware with Spybot Search &
Destroy from www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before running
them. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe
Mode. Be sure your Mcafee av is up-to-date, also.
