My networked pc gives me the message "your account is
configured to prevent you from using this computer. Please
try another computer."

I can log in on other computers. My pc worked fine until
yesterday. What needs changed to eliminate the error
message

I'm not familiar with any such message unless your Network administrator
made some change that is preventing you from logging on. Perhaps you should
check with whoever is in charge of the network.

Another possibility might be a virus, you'd have to do a scan on your system
to check.

I'm getting the same message on a stand-alone laptop with multiple users. I can log on as I'm an administrator, but any of the users cannot log on. We have defined a Local Security Policy to audit logons/logoffs, accesses, etc. I was thinking that something in that may cause it. It worked great for a couple weeks, now people can't logon. Any thoughts?
